The Million Reasons - If Not For The Fire - EP
Genre: Rock
Release Date: February 21st 2020
Label: The Million Reasons
iTunes
From the moment you hit play on this project pure Rock and Roll hit's you in the face. A perfect use of the rock formula without a doubt. Each of the four tracks escalate the EP's greatness higher and higher.
Lyrically the project is perfection, Not a single complaint on my part. The instrumentals are pure Rock and it's glorious. The vocals are complimented so much by the instrumentals that it adds to the project even more.
All in all being the debut project for the band is very hard to believe. If this is what the band is putting out in the beginning the future is looking really bright for them. I greatly look forward to seeing what's next and will definitely be checking it out.

The BRKN - No. 3 - EP
Genre: Pop Punk
Release Date: March 06th 2020
Label: Right Brain Music Group
Website
Serving as the debut EP for Pop Punk band The BRKN, No. 3 is a very great insight into the minds of the band. Overall it is a great project that excites me for the future of the band.
Consisting of 6 songs the EP is the definition of Pop Punk. Instrumentally it doesn't miss the mark whatsoever. Lyrically it is exactly what i want in a Pop Punk album. The vocal performance put on by singer Jacob Cade is extraordinary, The epitome of what i want in pop punk vocals. It is overall a project that any fan of the genre will love , But i also feel like it could be a good starting point for people who want to try modern pop punk.

Mackenzie Nicole - Mystic

Label: Strange Main

As her second album Mystic serves as the follow up to 2018's The Edge. Also serving as her first album as a Strange Main artist. Strange Main is the off shoot label of Strange Music run by Rapper Tech N9ne and his partner Travis O'Guin. I have been greatly anticipating this album.
Starting off with the previously released "Heart Of Darkness" the album is a definite improvement of The Edge, Which is a great album but im very happy to see Mackenzie improve her craft. Taking inspiration from many outside sources Mackenzie took Pop music and made it her own. The production is outstanding, Seven helped elevate Mystic to a whole new level. Lyrically the album is perfection, Mackenzie told exactly the story she wanted to tell. Vocally i was blown away by the sheer talent Mackenzie holds, Which I knew already based off The Edge she stepped it up ten fold. The storytelling ability in this album is outstanding, Not only does her words tell a story but the production which i can almost guarantee Mackenzie had her hand in sonically does as well. Overall
It is one of the best listening experiences i have ever had listening to a pop album which is a term i use loosely in this case.
I can without a doubt see this album blowing up and escalating Mackenzie into a even bigger star than she already is, It is one of the best Pop albums i have heard to date and I cannot wait for it to be unleashed to the world. I strongly suggest even if you have not heard of Mackenzie Nicole you give this album a listen because you will not be disappointed in it.

This album is one of the albums i was most looking forward to. From the second the band announced their reunion I was fully invested. With the release of each single afterward i was more and more sold on the album. Going into this album just know nostalgia is very real, At least for me it is.
From the moment "Say You Ever" starts a experience occurs that very rarely occurs for me anymore, That being the ability to not only stay focused on the entire album but have every song i hear become my new favorite track on the album. From track to track the overall listening experience gets better and better. Honestly the only complaint i have is that the album ended, Which admittedly is a stupid complaint. The instrumentals are incredible, Every note is crafted to perfection. Lyrically every song is damn near perfection upon first listen, With each new listen afterwards it gets closer and closer to perfection. Vocally Nixon has never sounded better, Give "Forgiveness Is an Art" A listen and you will agree. Even the track "Maeve" which was originally recorded for Nixon's project Sumner Roots during the band's hiatus made the album which i was extremely happy about. This album is interesting to me even more due to the fact that even though it is the first new album in 6 years it still feels like listening to the same band just more experienced.
Upon listening to this album i am incredibly grateful to not only be listening to a new Framing Hanley album, But to also have hope for the future of the band. I greatly look forward to everything the band has to come in the future and will definitley be checking it all out.
