From the second i hit play to the end of the album I found myself buried in this album. From The moment "Dodging Bullets" starts I found myself feeling super invested in this album. This is honestly my first experience with Silvertung, But I would be lying if I said i was not gonna look up some past releases.

The instrumentals are all very catchy yet heavy, While the vocals mesh perfectly with them the cherry on top is the incredibly well written lyrics on each song. Instrumentally The entirety of the project gives me major Three Days Grace vibes, While vocally i get major Rob Zombie vibes. "Dodging Bullets" serves as a perfect opener to the project due to it's overall kickass in your face sound, Which does not at all go away till the very end.

Overall for me this album serves as a perfect introduction to Silvertung, While I will be looking into their past work im excited for what the future holds for Silvertung.

Consisting of 6 songs (4 Reimagined Versions and 2 Original) this EP shows off a completely new side of Slaves. Starting off with the brand new track "Body On Fire", The EP Starts off strong and continues growing. Jonny Craig showcases why he is such a powerhouse vocalist throughout the entirety of the project. The acoustic version of "I'd Rather See Your Star Explode" shows off an even more beautiful rendition to an already beautiful song. The acoustic version "True Colors" adds a very new feeling of emotion to it compared too the original, Showcasing an almost Pop/R&B feel to it. Right from the start "The Pact" is greatly more emotional than the original, The added various different string instruments make an already emotional song hit so much harder. The new track "Down For The Ride" showcases a side of Slaves that I personally want to see way more often, Featuring lyrics that are both greatly personal but also about a special person it is a beautiful addition not only to the EP but to Slaves entire catalog of music. Serving as the only rendition not from Slaves 2018 album "Beautiful Death", "My Soul Is Empty And Full Of White Girls" was not only one of my favorites from their debut album but also concludes the EP very well.

The overall new spin on previous tracks as well as the newly created 2 tracks worked for me very much. It not only shows a side of Slaves not often seen but also shows the familiar beauty that band is very much known for.

Dealing with such deeply personal subjects as addiction and divorce, an featuring an ensemble of Lead singers this album serves as the debut solo effort of Jon Hill. From start to finish you experience the 2 year span of Jon's life as he was working on the album with producer Spencer Bradham and guitarist Spencer Gill of the band Tides of Man. The various singers each add there own pain and anguish to each of the various chapters of the story making the entire album an extraordinary musical experience.

From the second the album starts with opening track "Would You Save Me Now" (which features vocals by Aaron Marsh of the band Copeland) until it ends on "Same Old Song" (which features vocals by Tilian Pearson of Dance Gavin Dance) you don't know what you will experience next. The instrumentals as well as the vocals of each vocalist mesh with the lyrics so perfectly that from start to finish you don't want to miss a single second of this beautiful masterpiece. The Drum work of Jon Hill is so interesting because it add's new elements of beauty to the entire project.

My overall experience with the album is that I have not been as invested in an album as a whole like this is quite a while, So much so that I have managed to forget how it makes me feel to be fully emerged in the music like this. Upon listening to this album I am very much looking forward to future endeavors involving Jon Hill.
